מדברות
בעת שפרצה מלחמת יום
הכיפורים היו חברי עמותת
בל"ב עולים חדשים. אחד
הזיכרונות החזקים שלהם,
המונצח בדגם זה, הוא
שבשנה שאחרי המלחמה
לא היו ביצים בירושלים, ולכן
הכינו יחד מדי שבוע בסיר
פלא עוגת שוקולד נפלאה
וריחנית ונטולת ביצים. זיכרון
מריר-מתוק זה מלווה אותם
ומעלה בהם חיוך עד היום.
When the Yom KippurWar
broke out, the members of
the B’Lev non-profit were
new immigrants. One of
their strongest memories,
captured in this model, is
that in the year after the war
no eggs were available in
Jerusalem, so every week
they got together and made
a delicious and aromatic
eggless chocolate cake in a
wonder pot. This bitter-sweet
memory accompanies them
and evokes a smile to this
day.
