מדברות
רגע לפני שהגיעו לזבל
מצאו את עצמם הקרשים
והבדים, הגזם וחוטי החשמל,
המגזינים והאריזות הישנות
בסוכה אחת שמחה ומוארת
חזוּר וחיסכון
ִ
שכולה מ
במשאבים. והאור? הוא
מופק מאנרגיית השמש
כמובן, כי כשהאדם משתמש
בטכנולוגיה באחריות, העולם
כולו יוצא נשכר.
A moment before they
reached the trash can,
the boards and the cloth,
the pruned branches and
electrical wires, the old
magazines and containers—
all found themselves in one
happy, illuminated sukkah,
composed exclusively of
recycled materials all about
conserving resources. And
the light? It’s generated
by solar energy, of course.
Because when humans use
technology responsibly, the
whole world benefits.
