מדברות
כמו אל המגן על צאן מרעיתו,
כמו הורה המטפח את ילדו
באהבה, כמו גולם שעוטף
ברוך את הפרפר המתפתח –
כך סוכה זו, שעשויה חומרים
מעיזבונן של נשות המשפחה,
מעניקה ליושביה סביבה רכה
ומזמינה ומייצגת את תקוותו
של כל הורה להעניק לילדיו
את המיטב ולהבטיח את
עתידו.
Just like the Lord protecting
his flock; like parents lovingly
nurturing their children; like a
cocoon that gently envelops
the developing butterfly—so
too this sukkah, made of
materials bequeathed by the
women of the family, gives
those sitting in it a soft and
inviting environment and
represents every parent’s
hope to give their children
the best they possibly can
and to secure their future.
