מדברות
מעיין, יוצר הדגם, יגיע בקרוב
לגיל מצוות. בצדה החיצוני
של הסוכה מסומלות הציפיות
החברתיות מהמעבר: קריאת
התורה, בגרות ומבט להמשך.
בצד הפנימי רוחשת עדיין
ילדיוּת: משחקים, זיכרונות
ומראָה שבעזרתה יוכל לחזור
לעצמו למרות הציפיות.
כשירצה יוכל להכניס את החוץ
או להוציא את הפנים, וכך
לחבר בין העולמות.
Maayan, who created this
model, will soon celebrate
his bar mitzvah. The outside
of the sukkah symbolizes
the social expectations of
this transition: reading from
the Torah, adolescence,
and a glance towards the
future. The inside is still
childhood: games, memories,
and a mirror he can use to
return to himself, despite
the expectations. When
he wishes, he can turn the
outside in or the inside out
and link the two worlds.
