מדברות
"ושעשע יונק על חור פתן"
(ישעיה יא, ח).
מי ייתן שטליתו של הקדוש
ברוך הוא תיפרש מעלינו
באהבה בקרוב,
וכלי משחית לא ישמשו
עוד אלא מגרש משחקים
שעוללים משתובבים בו
והורים מצלמים את ילדיהם
על רקע זיכרונות רחוקים
מימים של מלחמה.
“A babe shall play over a
viper’s hole”(Isaiah 11:8). May
it be God’s will that the tallit
of the Holy One Blessed Be
He be spread above us with
love, in the near future, and
that weapons of destruction
no longer be used, but rather
serve as the playground
where young children run
wild and parents photograph
their children against the
background of remote
memories from a time of war.
