מדברות
מקום הופך למקום קדוש
כאשר בני אדם מרכזים בו
פעילות של פולחן ואמונה.
הסוכה, אף שהיא מבנה ארעי,
היא מקום קדוש בן שבעה
ימים. דגם זה משלב אלמנטים
אדריכליים אמיתיים של
מקומות מקודשים, בהם בית
המקדש היהודי ואתרי פולחן
פגאניים נוסח מצרים ויוון
העתיקות.
A place becomes holy when
activities of faith and worship
are concentrated inside it.
The sukkah, even though a
temporary structure, is a holy
place for seven days. This
model incorporates authentic
architectural elements of
holy places, including the
Jewish Temple and ancient
Egyptian and Greek pagan
places of worship.
