באזור שבו הקרקע בוערת
באופן קבוע, שפיכות
דמים היא עניין שבשגרה,
וסערות שמשתוללות סביבנו
שואבות את מדינות העולם
כמערבולת – חגי תשרי הם
בבחינת בועה של אמונה,
המשכיות מבורכת, מסורת,
משפחתיות, כוח נפשי
ותקווה.
In a region where the earth
is always burning under our
feet, bloodshed is a routine
matter, and the storms
raging around us draw in the
countries of the world like a
whirlpool—the festivals of
Tishrei are a sort of bubble
of faith, blessed continuity,
tradition, family, spiritual
strength and hope.
