"עמוק עמוק אני עוד מבקש
לי סוכת שלום", כתב יורם
טהרלב. אלא שאין די בתפילה;
האחריות מוטלת עלינו ליצור
את השלום בפשטות, במעשים,
במו ידינו, כמו שבונים סוכה.
שכּן סוכת השלום אינה רק חוף
מבטחים ליונה, אלא אף הקן
שלה, ההבטחה לעתיד טוב
לילדינו.
“Deep, deep down I am
still looking for a sukkah of
peace,”wrote YoramTeharlev.
But prayer isn’t enough. We
bear the responsibility to
create peace with simplicity,
with actions, with our own
hands—the same way we
build a sukkah. For the Sukkah
of Peace isn’t just a shelter for
a dove, but also its nest, the
promise of a better future for
our children.
