The Flag of Israel

The blue and white colors and the Magen David on the Flag of Israel have a variety of meanings and symbolize different things. In this class we will explore the content, meaning and holiness of the Israeli flag on personal and national levels. We will study historical, philosophical and religious sources which give meaning to the essence of the flag for which many soldiers have sacrificed their lives.
