In the 1920s, two German friends immigrate to the United States: Max is Jewish and single, and Martin is non-Jewish and head of a growing family. Now, in 1932, the art gallery and its proprietors are successful, but the winds of change blowing in Germany call Martin to take his family back to the Fatherland. Address Unknown plays out through a series of letters exchanged between Max and Martin, letters that reflect the intimate human drama caused by the social and political tumult of Germany during the rise of the Nazi Party.

The Keys to the City
THE MIRACLE OF JERUSALEM: 1917

An original one-act opera produced under the personal direction of both the author and composer, The Keys to the City recounts the tumultuous final days of Ottoman Jerusalem during World War I, as Ottoman forces fled the Holy Land before the approaching British Army. Henya Dvora Berger, a Jewish resident of Jerusalem, conspires to rescue her husband, forcibly drafted into the losing Austro-Hungarian Army, by disguising him as an Arab. Meanwhile, the mayor of Jerusalem, receiving a note of surrender and keys to the city by the fleeing Turkish governor, tries to deliver both to the ranking British officer with an increasingly comical lack of success.

an improv and comedy sketch group

Israel is not just a warzone like many see on TV. There is a world of top technology, start ups and crazy innovations and a culture full of really great tasting food, extremely attractive people and age-old traditions…and Tel Aviv.
Our comedy troupe provides the other side of Israeli life, the daily dramas of bureaucracy, cafes, traffic jams, political troubles and more. And we do it through humor using improv, sketches, videos and music to let the world know that it’s ok to laugh at Israel and in fact there are a lot of funny things happening here. Remember, Israel is funny. And if you don’t think so then you haven’t seen our show.

Dr. Jazz’s groove is Classic Dixieland. This style of music is from the streets, steamers and ball rooms of New Orleans at the beginning of the last century. Dr. Jazz performs utilizing authentic acoustic tools, such as Banjo, Tuba, Trombone, Trumpet, Saxophone, Washboard and a Kazoo, and will provide you with the best jazz pieces from the history of Jazz.
